Terms of Service

Terms for using SpriteSheet and AI-generated sprite assets.

Last updated: 2026-08-24

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

SpriteSheet provides browser-based sprite tools and an account-based AI sprite generation service. AI features may use third-party providers and can be rate-limited, changed, suspended, or discontinued.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
  • Upload personal, confidential, illegal, or harmful material without all required rights and permissions.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
  • Automate abusive requests, evade limits, send malware, or use generated assets to facilitate harm.

Your Inputs and Generated Assets

You retain rights you already hold in prompts and source images. You grant us and our service providers the limited permission needed to process, store, and transmit those inputs to operate the requested feature. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, inconsistent, non-unique, or similar to other content. We do not guarantee that an output is original, registrable, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular game, engine, store, or commercial use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and obtaining any required clearances before use or distribution.

Credits and Current Launch Stage

Generation credits are service-use units, not money, property, or a transferable balance. The initial launch does not offer public paid checkout. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented before purchase and may require an updated agreement.

Intellectual Property

The service software, brand, site content, and interfaces are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your valid pre-existing input rights or any output rights that applicable law may recognize.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
